The greatest compliment that I can give Billy is how similar he was to my Dad, Chas. They were both real Cumbrian men who both easily settled in the South but never forgot their roots; wise; kind; reliable; family men. Billy’s passing leaves a gap in the life of those who knew him but also some wonderful memories.
